The College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences has disclosed plans to conduct an orientation ceremony for newly admitted students across various programs. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Kossoh Town Campus, JUI.
The orientation sessions will be categorized according to different programs and their respective dates:
On Thursday, January 4th, 2023, the orientation is designated for students in Pre-Med 1, Pre-Med 2, and those in their 2nd and 3rd year of Medicine, as well as Pre-Pharmacy students.
The following day, Friday, January 5th, 2023, will be dedicated to Diploma in Pharmacy students and students in the Pre-BSc Nursing program.
On Saturday, January 6th, 2023, the orientation will cater to students in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program.
Importantly, only students who have accepted the offer of admission and have fully settled their fees will be permitted to participate in the orientation. The finance office at New England will communicate with prospective students meeting these criteria, notifying them of when and where to collect their orientation package.
This orientation serves as a crucial introduction to the academic and institutional aspects of the college for incoming students. It is a valuable opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with the campus, faculty, and the specific requirements of their respective programs. The College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences emphasizes the significance of active participation by eligible students to ensure a smooth and enriching transition into their academic journey.
