Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone has topped the Law School Bar Finals Examinations with Mohamed Asmieu Jalloh claiming the star pupil position.

The over 200 students that took the exam included law graduates from Fourah Bay College, University of Makeni and Njala University.

Seven students passed with class II Division I while the bulk of this year’s batch passed with Class II Division II.

Over 50 students recorded references with 45 students having one reference and 9 having two references.

The Bar finals is examination conducted to test whether law students from universities in Sierra Leone are qualified to practice law.

Recently, there has been a surge in the number of passes with experts attributing it to rise in law courses at universities across the country.
