The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) through the Free Quality School Education (FQSE) programme has in a public notice, announced that it will start collecting examination data of schools within the Freetown municipality.
“The Free Quality School Education (FQSE) Secretariat wishes to inform all school authorities and parents that I have been mandated by the National Programme Coordinator FQSE to collect all examination data of all schools within the Western Urban District.” the notice reads.
It noted that the headcount of all examination classes of pupils that are supposed to take the NPSE, BECE, and WASSCE exams of the 2023/2024 academic year will start from the 1st of November to the 19th of December 2023.
It further noted that the exercise will be carried out in all government and government-assisted schools within the Western Urban District.
It therefore advised parents and School authorities to ensure that students are in Schools within that period in order to prevent them from being excluded from taking the coming exams.
Thank you Mr Minister for your good job during this past examination. But Mr Minister the principal of the Schools did not want to take Resetters? This Government want to put education down, they want to help people to dropout. Mr Minister
