Njala University has officially announced the postponement of its first semester examinations, rescheduling the exams to begin in mid-February 2026, according to a public notice issued by the university’s Office of the Registrar.

The notice, dated January 21, 2026, informed staff and students of Njala University that the first semester examinations, which were earlier scheduled to take place at an earlier date, have now been rescheduled to commence on February 16, 2026, and will end on February 27, 2026.

The statement, released by the Office of the Registrar at Njala Campus, Njala University, said the decision affects all students and staff across the institution. It further directed the Student Services Units at both the Njala and Bo campuses to take the necessary steps to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the examinations during the new period.

“This is to inform staff and students of Njala University that the first semester examinations have been rescheduled to commence on 16th February 2026 and end on 27th February 2026,” the notice stated.

As of the time of this report, the university has not provided additional details explaining the reason for the postponement. However, the administration emphasized the need for relevant university units to ensure proper arrangements are put in place ahead of the new examination dates.

Njala University students and staff are therefore expected to adjust their academic schedules in line with the revised examination timetable as announced by the university’s Office of the Registrar.
