Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, the Chief Executive Officer of Luawa Football Club, has achieved a significant educational milestone by being awarded a Ph.D. degree from the School of Advanced Study, University of London.

Aside from his role with Luawa Football Club, Dr. Abdulai is also a distinguished legal practitioner at Abdulai & Associates and serves as a director at the Society for Democratic Initiatives (SDI). The SDI focuses on governance and human rights advocacy in Sierra Leone, with a specialization in combating corruption through various lenses such as access to information, open data, Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), open contracting, and aid effectiveness.
