The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) has announced scholarship opportunities from suitably qualified Sierra Leonean students who wish to pursue various courses in the Republic of Romania

This year, the scholarship covers a wide range of professional fields and at three levels of certification spanning from Bachelor, Master to terminal (Ph.D.) degrees.

BELOW ARE THE REGULATORY CONDITIONS

  1. Applicants MUST be less than 25 years of age when applying for the Undergraduate programmes and have obtained a good WASSCE certificate.

  2. Applicant for Master’s degree MUST not be above 35 years of age and possess a good Bachelor’s degree.

  3. Applicant for the Ph.D. degree, MUST not be above 45 years of age, and possess a good Masters’ degree.

  4. Upload a scanned copy of traveling document with validily not later than March 1. 2026

  5. Upload evidence of acquired education certificates and transcripts.

  6. Upload a Study plan or Research proposal (A minimum of 200 words for Undergraduates, 800 words for Postgraduates students)

  7. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendations

  8. Interested applicants can access the application form through www.studyinrornania.gov.ro and submit on or before Tuesday 12th March, 2024

  9. Completed application with all supporting documents should be submitted to the same website and Hard Copies Hand Delivered to the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education Office on or before Tuesday 12th March, 2024

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education for interview.
