Sierra Leonean musician Nasser Ayoub in a Facebook post highlighted the criteria for one to win the Grammy Awards.

His post comes after Vickie Remoe had made a $3 million proposal to the government for the nomination of three Sierra Leonean artists to Grammy for the next five years.

According to Nasser Ayoub, he stated that for an artist to win a Grammy Award they must be a member of the Academy and a Professional Worker in Music in the USA.

He said Grammy Awards are not won based on the artist streams, followers, money, looks and the support of ones government but winners are chosen by the members.
