Following Drizilik’s performance at The BET Cyphers, the Sierra Leonean rap scene is ablaze with discussion and criticism. Controversial freestyle rapper Rashid Dyfan, better known as Bone na Throat, took to his social media platforms to express his unfiltered opinions about Drizilik’s recent performance.
In a candid post, Bone na Throat didn’t mince words, stating, “Seriously Need To Start Writing For Drizilik Damm’ His New Freestyle Is A Mess That Need To Be Addressed.”
He continued, “Instead of Drizilik inviting me to perform on his show, as a rapper and freestyler, I prefer he invites me to be his writer because I don’t want ‘Drizi’ to fall so early in his career.”
Bone na Throat didn’t stop there. He criticized Drizilik’s previous work, saying, “At first, the Drizilik Ashobi Album was so whack, and now, his recent freestyle sounds the same exact.”
He concluded with a pointed remark, “It’s like the industry wanted him to be the best at all costs, but he is too weak in lyrics and not too deep in the street, so Drizilik is at high risk.”
As the rap community eagerly awaits Drizilik’s response to these harsh criticisms, it’s clear that this latest development has added an intense layer of intrigue to Sierra Leone’s music scene.
How comes he was able to take 3rd position in the BET cypher.
Bon na throat, you’re just jealous of Drizilik. You will never reach his peak in this rap game. The mess he has been singing is what took him where he is today. You’re claiming to be good but yet still you are not recognised.
