Sierra Leone’s Hip-Hop Rapper and Peace Ambassador, Alhaji Amadu Bah, Popularly Known as Boss LA, has jokeingly Provoked Civil Society Activist Joseph Sannoh during the just concluded Civic Festival.
Boss LA, stirred controversy during his performance at the Sierra Leone Civil Festival on Thursday, December 12, 2024, by directing a provocative remark at civil society activist Joseph Sannoh.
While on stage, Boss LA humorously accused Sannoh of encroaching on the bloggers’ profession. He joked:
“Sannoh, are you tired? You are the one taking the job of the bloggers now, right? Is it because you are ugly that’s why you think you’re a blogger? I’m just kidding.”
The comment drew loud laughter from the crowd, but it also sparked mixed reactions. While some found it amusing, others considered the statement disrespectful to Sannoh.
This incident has since ignited discussions about the fine line between humor and respect during public performances.
