Sierra Leonean hip-hop star and peace ambassador, Boss LA, has strongly responded to comments made by Valentine King, CEO of House of Stars, regarding the country’s entertainment industry.
The controversy arose after CEO Val openly stated that everyone in his reality TV show, House of Stars, is bigger than all artists in the Sierra Leone entertainment industry and even in the Mano River Union. This statement has sparked backlash, with many in the industry considering it disrespectful.
In his reaction during a radio interview, Boss LA condemned the remark, urging Valentine never to repeat such a statement. He described it as a blatant insult to the hard work and dedication of Sierra Leonean entertainers.
“Such a statement is very disrespectful, and the CEO deserves a proper slap for that level of disrespect,” Boss LA asserted. He further called on CEO Valentine to issue a public apology to the entertainment industry, emphasizing the need for respect and recognition of local talent.
