Sierra Leonean Musician, Rap Gee has in an interview on AYV stood up for popular magician and convicted murderer of DJ Clef, Baimba Moiforay, commonly called LAC.

Rap Gee recounted words LAC shared with him in prison, noting LAC’s fervent claim of innocence.

“LAC in tears told me that he was innocent, swearing that if had a hand in Cleff’s death, let God punish him with death in the prison but if he is innocent let him be freed. So i don’t feel LAC is guilty because if he was, He wouldn’t have come out from prison.” Rap Gee said.

LAC was convicted in 2015 after being found guilty of murdering DJ Clef. After 6 years in prison, he was pardoned by President Bio on 1st January 2022. His Presidential pardon brought alarm to Sierra Leoneans which made the President revoke his pardon and instituted an investigation.

LAC left the country before the Sierra Leone Police declared him wanted which led to the sacking of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Anthony Brewah.

Soon after his escape, he took to social media his own side of the story. The magician denied murdering DJ Clef and stated that he had never murdered anyone since he came to this world.
