Multi-award-winning Sierra Leonean rap and Afrobeat artist, Drizilik, recently graced the stage alongside one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, Mr Eazi, at the Detty Rave music festival in Ghana.
Drizilik performed his trending single “Sabi Road” in front of a crowd of approximately 20,000 fans. During the event, Mr Eazi described Drizilik as his brother from Sierra Leone, despite it being their first meeting.
Earlier, Mr Eazi had shared a video on social media vibing to the lyrics of “Sabi Road”, praising Drizilik’s talent and bringing international recognition to the Sierra Leonean artist. According to Drizilik’s social media publicist, the artist was personally invited by Mr Eazi to perform at the festival.
In addition to performing, Drizilik interacted with influential Afrobeats personalities, including Adesope and DJ Edu, further strengthening his connections in the African music industry.
Drizilik has been a professional musician for ten years, but his global career has accelerated over the past two years, significantly enhancing his artistic impact and international reach.
