Freetown is set for a major entertainment night as Housemates Salone Season 4 officially launches today, Friday, July 18, at Chapter One Night Club and Restaurant.
The event will feature some of Sierra Leone’s biggest music stars, including Famous, King Boss LAJ, and Kao Denero. The After-Launch Party begins at 10 p.m., with entry priced at one hundred United States dollars.
Famous is scheduled to perform live, while King Boss LAJ has been named the Special Guest Artist. Kao Denero, who currently serves as Sierra Leone’s Entertainment Ambassador, will be the Special Guest of Honour.
With all three stars attending, many are closely watching not just the entertainment but also the dynamics between them, given their rocky pasts.
Earlier this year, Famous and Kao Denero had a public fallout involving a police report, sparking social media drama and dividing fan reactions. Kao Denero and LAJ also share a long history of public disagreements, having exchanged sharp words through music and media interviews. Although both now hold ambassadorial roles, their differences remain unresolved in the public eye.
Fueling speculation, LAJ posted on social media just hours before the event, expressing gratitude for the honour and confirming Famous’ attendance. He also urged fans to “leave any trouble at home.” Famous later shared a post referencing “six figures in the bank” and added the phrase “in my LA voice,” which many interpreted as a sign of solidarity or perhaps a shared message aimed at a third party.
These online exchanges have added to the buzz surrounding the launch, with fans eager to witness how the night unfolds. Despite the history, all three artists are expected to appear as planned.
Housemates Salone remains one of Sierra Leone’s most-watched reality shows. Produced by AYV Media Empire and Africell, the show brings together contestants from across the country to live under one roof, facing weekly evictions and challenges.
