Popular Sierra Leonean rapper- Denis Amara Turay popularly known as Kao Denero has explained the vision behind his ‘Back to My Root’ Festival.

Kao Denero recently organized a hip-hop show at Tokeh beach featuring numerous celebrities in the country including the Kenyan rapper- Kaligraph Jones.

Giving out the vision he said, ‘’ The vision of the back to my root festival is to promote and help rebrand Sierra Leone through entertainment while showcasing the country’s touristic potential’’.

The rapper stressed the point that he wants to showcase not only the beauty of Sierra Leone but to attract tourists who might feel impressed to invest in the country.
