Sierra Leone Entertainment Ambassador and musician Amara Dennis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero on Thursday 25th April together with Land Surveyors from the Ministry of Lands, Consultant, Construction Engineer, and other stakeholders paid a visit to the proposed site for an entertainment auditorium at 6 Mile.
According to a report, the national auditorium project is not just about constructing a building but is seen as a pivotal development that will provide a platform for artists to showcase their talents, host international acts, support the local entertainment industry, and overall contribute to the economic growth of the country.
The auditorium when completed is expected to include cutting-edge sound and lighting technologies, ample seating, and modern amenities to accommodate a wide range of events, from concerts and theater productions to exhibitions and conferences.
The land was provided by the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Lands at 6 Mile as a way of commitment to enriching the creative arts industry.
It was reported that a date for the official unveiling of the said land is expected to be announced shortly, as it will mark a significant milestone in the project, symbolizing the beginning of a new era for the creative arts in the region.
