Sierra Leone’s Special Envoy for Entertainment and Investment, Amara Dennis Turay ‘Kao Denero’ has unveiled the initial phase of the ALL BATO WAN Initiative, revealing the first group of talents to receive backing.

On February 23, 2024, a significant gathering convened, led by Entertainment Ambassador Kao Denero, bringing together influential bloggers to bolster the ALL BATO WAN initiative. The aim was clear: to elevate the voices of Sierra Leonean artists, musicians, and filmmakers on a global scale.

In this auspicious meeting, Ambassador of Peace King Boss La joined forces with Kao Denero to lend unwavering support to the initiative’s noble goals, focusing on enhancing the international visibility of Sierra Leonean creatives. Through vibrant discussions and innovative ideas, key decisions were made, marking a transformative shift in approach.

A biweekly spotlight was established, showcasing the talent of three outstanding artists, who will benefit from amplified promotion across various platforms. The selection process will be transparent and merit-based, ensuring that talent takes precedence in gaining recognition.

Recognizing the influence of TikTok creators and digital advocates, Ambassador Kao Denero unveiled plans to engage them in advancing the initiative’s objectives, leveraging digital platforms to amplify artistic resonance.
