Lachaeveh Davies, Miss Sierra Leone 2025, has unveiled her national costume for the Miss Supranational 2026 pageant, highlighting Sierra Leone’s heritage, culture, and national identity on the international stage.

In a statement accompanying the unveiling, Davies described the costume as more than a piece of clothing, describing it as “a journey through the heart of Sierra Leone.”

She explained that each element of the design represents different aspects of the country’s history, culture, and natural beauty, featuring iconic landmarks such as the Clock Tower and historic lighthouse, as well as representations of Sierra Leone’s national animal.

The costume also draws inspiration from the country’s landscapes, incorporating elements representing the Mambo Waterfall and Mount Bintumani, Sierra Leone’s highest mountain, which she said symbolise resilience and hope.

Davies noted that the design further reflects everyday Sierra Leonean life, including the country’s beaches, fishing communities, agricultural heritage, and local expressions, showcasing the warmth and uniqueness of its people.

“I wore more than a costume. I carried the spirit of my people, our history, our landscapes, and our identity onto the stage,” she said.

The Miss Sierra Leone 2025 titleholder described the costume as “a love letter to Sierra Leone,” expressing pride in representing the country at an international pageant.
