In a tragic incident that has shocked the community of Makeni, a young man named Abdul Karim Kamara was fatally stabbed in APRIL 2024 by thieves. The incident occurred shortly after he attended Laj’s performance at Plaza Night Club and was on his way home.

Reports indicate that the thieves only made off with a Tecno phone and an empty side bag, making the loss of Abdul’s life all the more senseless and heartbreaking.

Meanwhile, On behalf of the family of the fallen student,  a letter has been written to Boss LA urging to  to attend the court session of the trial of the accused in show of solidarity as the family seeks Justice.

The Letter Reads:

Dear Laj,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of the family of the late Abdul Karim Kamara, who was a devoted fan of yours. Tragically, Abdul was stabbed and killed after attending one of your performances. The Makeni police have taken swift action by arresting and charging two individuals in connection with this heinous crime. The case is set to be heard at the Makeni magistrate court, with a scheduled appearance this Wednesday.

Abdul’s family is seeking justice for their beloved son, and they strongly believe that your presence at the court proceedings could help ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions. Your support and solidarity during this difficult time would mean a great deal to them as they seek closure and justice for Abdul.

We kindly request that you or someone close to you make every effort to attend the court session on Wednesday to show your support for Abdul’s family and to stand against senseless violence in our communities.
