Lansana Unisa Conteh (LUC) and Fatmata Sesay have been crowned Mr. and Miss EBK Port Loko Campus 2026 after a thrilling and colourful beauty pageant held on Saturday, 14th February, at the Amphitheater of Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology.

The much-anticipated event, organized by the Students’ Union Government (SUG) under the leadership of President Mbalu Smart Kamara, attracted a large audience of students, lecturers, and community stakeholders who gathered to witness the exciting competition.

Seven contestants — four males and three females — battled for the prestigious titles. Participants were judged in several competitive segments including Casual Wear and Introduction, Africana Appearance, and Talent Explosion, among others. The categories were designed to test confidence, creativity, intelligence, stage presence, and cultural representation.

In the male category, Lansana Unisa Conteh (LUC), a final-year student from the Social Studies Department, impressed both judges and the audience with his consistency, confidence, and commanding performance throughout the contest, securing the crown.

In the female category, Fatmata Sesay, a third-year student from the Human Kinetics and Sport Science Department, stood out for her poise, talent, elegance, and exceptional stage presence, earning her the title of Miss EBK Port Loko Campus 2026.

Judges described the competition as highly competitive, commending all contestants for their bravery and outstanding performances. According to organizers, the pageant forms part of student engagement activities aimed at promoting unity, leadership, and talent development on campus.

The night ended in jubilation as supporters cheered loudly and celebrated the newly crowned champions, marking another memorable chapter in campus social life.
