Police in Sierra Leone have detained two music artists, Soloman Kass-Marrah, also known as Kass of the LXG music group, and Edward Wright, popularly known as Kontri Boss (formerly Eddie 441) in connection with the death of Alouysh Deen Tarawally popularly known as ‘Arata’.

Arata, a controversial supporter of the ruling Sierra Leone’s People’s Party (SLPP) passed away in August after succumbing to injuries when a mob attacked him on accusations of stealing a tricycle “Kekeh” in Freetown.

Sierraloaded learnt that Kontri Boss is being detained in connection to his ownership of the Kekeh that alleged to have been attacked for stealing by Arata. However, it is not particularly clear Kass of the LXG’s connection to the incident.

“We have made some interventions and they promised to release him in the morning.”, Mohamed Sow, Lawyer to Kontri Boss told Sierraloaded on Sunday evening.
