Reality TV personality and musician Anita Macmillan Sesay has shared a disturbing personal experience, warning the public particularly young people about the dangers of misplaced trust in friendships.
In a personal account, Anita alleged that a close friend had been secretly taking nude photographs and videos of her without her knowledge or consent.
She said the recordings were made during private moments, including while she was bathing, applying body cream, and sleeping.
According to Anita, she discovered the material after briefly taking her friend’s phone to snap a picture. She explained that the friend had previously been protective of the device, which raised her suspicion. Upon checking the phone’s gallery, she said she found explicit images and videos of herself.
The discovery, she noted, left her shocked and deeply hurt, given the level of trust she had placed in the individual.
Anita further alleged that the same friend had, on several occasions, made remarks suggesting she had the means to damage her reputation. She said those comments were initially dismissed but now appear linked to the alleged recordings.
She used the experience to caution the public, stating that people should be mindful of the kind of friendships they maintain.
The incident has since sparked discussions around privacy, trust, and the misuse of personal information, particularly within close relationships.
