Supporters of the All People’s Congress (APC) party have disclosed that their party’s hope for the future is still doubtful.

“Our APC is in the rubble. Who will help rescue our party from this wilderness which hangs on the balance, “says Isatu Suma.

She sadly pointed out that there is lots of information they are hearing on the possibility for a restoration of democracy or something that has to do with the tripartite recommendations.

She said the influx of bloggers in the party who are sharing different and unverified information on social media is a cause for concern for all.

“I believe some of these bloggers are not fully blooded APC. They are just busy abusing elders here and there with no sense of focus and direction,” she lambasted.

Memunatu Jalloh from Allen Town community lampoons the APC party members who keep on rasing their hopes for a better result on the official announcement of the tripartite recommendations.

Jalloh said the party is full of jokers than its making a formidable force to redeem the country from the present abyss of darkness and poverty.

“We are not at war but what we are experiencing is very serious and life-threatening for us. The staple food has skyrocketed; a cup of pepper is now sold at Le 20 while the other basic commodities are also expensive too.”

Many supporters are now doubtful of the party’s chances of winning the tripartite investigation or winning the next elections in the country “because everyone wants to become a president.”

Many party stalwarts are now focusing on having a flag bearer other than addressing the 2023 elections’ concerns.

The likes of Dr. Richard Conteh, Samuel Sam Sumana, Dr. Fornah, JFK and many others have folded their sleeves waiting for 2028 elections, he said.

Others are reportedly working underground with the intention to become Presidents and so they have considered 2023 previous elections as done and dusted thing, meaning they are not interested in a re-run of the presidential election APC had requested for due to the June 2023 controversial election which saw President Julius Maada Bio be declared head of state for a second time in office.

The supporters said they are still confused as to the truth which is still not told about the 2023 elections.

Many APC supporters have decided not to vote during 2028 elections if the June 24, 2023 elections’ ballot papers are not counted or announced fairly as they wished.

At the Calaba Town APC Ataya Base, hundreds of supporters are optimistic over the restoration of APC to power while others have advised their colleagues to drop that thinking but to think now about the next general elections to be held in 2028.

The information fluttering among the APC supporters at their many gatherings is sketchy and their hopes are still in the air and in “limbo” about seeing their party in power sooner like they have hoped for.
