Meet our personality of the week, Abdul Rahman Sissay.
Abdul Rahman Sissay was born in Kailahun District and had his early education in the Kailahun and Kenema Districts respectively.
He had his tertiary educations at the Eastern Polytechnic, Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, and the Njala University Bo Campus where he had BSC (Hons) in Public Health. He has been very instrumental in pushing education in the Kenema District and the Eastern Region.
Through his advocacy power he has created the change within communities by bringing young people to showcase their potentials through sport and other educational activities.
Sissay, has got an indelible mark in the field of journalism in the East and the country at large. As a journalist he has got many credits to his name and currently heads the secretariat of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) East.
He currently works with TOP Radio in Kenema and keeps moving up with his advocacy in revitalizing the youths and women in Not only the district but the country at large.
