Meet our personality for the fourth week in January, exemplary Harry Henry Kargbo.

Harry Kargbo’s early life and education shaped his character and values. He was born and raised in a humble home in Freetown, where he attended Sierra Leone Grammar School. He did not let his background deter him from pursuing his dreams. He furthered his education at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, where he studied and obtained a degree in Economics. He used his knowledge and skill to make a difference in his field of interest.

Harry Kargbo’s career and achievements reflect his passion and talent. He is well-known for his dexterity, love for humanity, and penmanship prowess, which gave him an opportunity to spend time in the diaspora. He has volunteered at mercy ships for several years on their first arrival in SL. This time again, he is also dedicating some of his time to help the ship’s work. He is currently the National Coordinator of Chozen Generation Sierra Leone, a program that empowers and educates young people, mentors them, and encourages them to participate in civic activities. He is also one of the founders of Meraki Analytics, a company that creates efficient digital data collection systems, helping businesses and organizations make data-driven decisions using cutting-edge tools and a multi-paradigm data science approach for their clients.

Harry Kargbo’s humanitarian work and vision demonstrate his kindness and compassion. He believes that we can improve the world by showing love and compassion to each other. He is part of the first group of Sierra Leoneans to welcome Mercy Ship, a floating hospital that offers free surgery in Sierra Leone this year. He has made remarkable progress in humanitarian work, data analysis, and public service. He serves his country faithfully and puts its interests above all else.
