Marking 50th Anniversary, President Bio Receives Chinese Medical Team Delegation
President Julius Maada Bio has received a Chinese delegation of the 24th Chinese Medical Team to Sierra Leone in celebration of 50th Anniversary of China dispatching Medical Teams to our nation.
President Bio states “I expressed our deep gratitude to the Chinese Medical Team for their commitment towards contributing to improving the country’s healthcare service delivery.
Their tireless efforts and expertise have made significant impacts on the well-being of our people and we are grateful for their continued cooperation.
Sierra Leone and China have continued to enjoy mutually beneficial partnerships. We shall continue to support initiatives that promote people-to-people as well as government-to-government cooperation,”
Members of the CMT are offered 
their expertise, time, and resources to patients without hesitation. The CMT is deeply devoted to helping alleviate the suffering and improve the health of the people of Sierra Leone.
