Glaucoma is a chronic eye condition characterized by increased pressure within the eye that can damage the optic nerve, leading to vision loss or blindness if left untreated. The primary goal of glaucoma treatment is to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) to prevent or slow down the progression of the disease
Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS): MIGS procedures are newer surgical techniques that are less invasive compared to traditional surgeries. They involve implanting small devices or creating microscopic incisions to improve the outflow of fluid from the eye.
