A remarkable 2-year-old prodigy from Kailahun in Eastern Sierra Leone has captured the internet’s attention, going viral after a captivating video surfaced.
In this footage, the young boy astonishingly performs complex mathematical calculations (for his age) in an impressive display of mental agility. Additionally, he can be heard reciting verses from the Quran, showcasing not only his intelligence but also his early engagement with cultural and religious teachings.
Africa First has featured the boy’s video on X alongside several other talented individuals from across the African continent, highlighting the diverse brilliance emerging from the region.
In the video, the boy impressively demonstrated his ability to perform complex calculations mentally before introducing himself as Ibrahim Kanneh in his native Mende dialect. He then shared a beautiful recitation of Ayat Kursi, a complex and very important verse in the Quran.

These are the kinds of people the government needs to pay attention to, such as those who are born to transform a generation. At this age, is mighty.
The government does not pay attention to children like these. Instead, they focus on children who always naked themselves on stage and call themselves dancers or singers. Our leaders never promote decency; they always promote indecency!
