The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), in a heartfelt announcement, mourned the loss of their esteemed Director of Prosecutions, Calvin T. Mantsebo Esq., who passed away on Sunday, 30th March, 2025.
Calvin served as the Director of Prosecutions at the ACC for over a decade, where he was known for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the fight against corruption. Colleagues and associates remember him as a diligent prosecutor and a consummate professional whose contributions to the Commission were significant.
His expertise and leadership in prosecutorial matters is believed to have made a lasting impact on the Commission and the broader justice community.
The Commission expressed its deep sadness at his passing, acknowledging the challenge of finding someone to fill his role. “Calvin was top-notch in his professional life,” the Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala stated in the announcement, stressing that, “He will be hard to replace.”
Calvin T. Mantsebo was a proud Zimbabwean, and arrangements are being made to repatriate his remains to Zimbabwe for burial.
