The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone has ordered the release of three top officials of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on bail without sureties.
Those released include the SLFA President, Thomas Daddy Brima; the Acting Secretary-General and Head of Administration, Benson Bawoh; and the Finance Officer, Ibrahim Bah.
According to the ACC Commissioner, the decision was made to ensure that the proposed SLFA Extraordinary Congress, scheduled for tomorrow, goes ahead as planned.
The Congress is seen as a crucial event in the SLFA’s calendar, with key governance and administrative decisions expected to be made
So so alaki, only God knows the game way una dae play.
So all these while ACC nor be know say na Tumara den dae get den ordinary conference.
Everything in Sierra Leone is just stage play even the justice system is been remote controlled. Orders from above is the only thing that is working presently in SL…
I don’t know who’s fooling who here
Tif tif God laugh
ACC is the second most useless institution in Salone after the Sierra Leone Police.
If it was an opposition member, you wouldn’t have cared if there’s an important conference tomorrow or not.
You ACC guys are just fooling yourself because some of us know that the anti-corruption doesn’t prosecute the current government members.
Pordor, oh Sierra Leone. The same person involved with the Bar Association election there’s is divide already, now it’s the SLFA. 😅😅😅😅
Sometimes I really ask myself what is the problem of our state institutions when it comes to the fight against corruption we are talking about state funds that was misused by some individuals and the Acc boss is telling us about a Congress is the Congress more important then people’s money that was misused by this peoples tell us sir
So, based on the press conference given by the ACC itself, over the case, Daddy Brima was just raping the agency, but even though they have proof of his malfeasance and arrested him after five months of investigation, they think he should be released to represent the agency. Wow! What sort of uselessness us this Either SLFA staffers do not take him seriously, or they now think they can steal with impunity. When is he going back to jail?
