Despite the public holiday, sweepers of the Freetown City Council (FCC) were actively engaged in cleaning the city’s streets, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to maintaining a cleaner environment.
From Orogu Bridge to Levuma Beach, sanitation workers were seen diligently sweeping and ensuring waste was properly managed.
She writes;
“It’s a public holiday today but the Freetown City Council sweepers were out on our streets this morning to keep the city clean. From Orogu Bridge to Levuma Beach, we are committed to playing our part. #Freetonians please play your part – don’t throw your waste in our gutters, waterways and streets”
