The announcement of the election results earlier today revealed a resounding victory for PC Amy. Out of a total of 134 votes cast, she garnered an impressive 132 votes, surpassing her three opponents by a wide margin. With over 98 percent of the votes, PC Amy’s triumph underscores the overwhelming support and confidence bestowed upon her by the people of Kowa Chiefdom.
The elections unfolded in Njama town, the chiefdom’s headquarters, under the watchful eye of Mr. Moses Gbetu, the electoral returnee officer. The Electoral Commission for Southern Leone (ECSL) team, led by Mr. Demond Alpha, orchestrated the proceedings. The polling station opened at 12 noon and closed promptly at 2:30 pm.

What a wicked world?
Let’s use common sense to analyze the result. She contested with three other candidates and the total vote cast was 134. The PC elect got 132. Candidates are suppose to vote so it means that only 2 of the candidates voted for themselves. Now the questions???
Does it mean that one of the contestants declined? Is it that the two candidates (that’s if they participated) had no supporters?
What I am advancing here is not an opinion but facts. The whole electioneering process was not free and fair. Infact it was a total mess. The result does not represent the Kowa people. It’s the voice of 0.0005% of the people. The people of Kowa from the onset of the process rejected the manner in which the process was conducted. They cried but nobody heard their cry. They authorities didn’t paid attention to the concerns of the people.
Finally the people of have silence with the self imposed result. Those in authority were not there for them but the Master of the Universe is there for them. The evil that men do live with them
