The National Chief Whip of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hon. Wurroh Jalloh Timbo, on Thursday, 23 January 2026, visited Constituency 039 in Falaba District to distribute APC membership identification cards to party members as part of a nationwide membership registration exercise.

During the visit, Hon. Timbo formally handed over party ID cards to registered members, describing the exercise as a key step in strengthening the APC’s grassroots structures. He said the distribution was aimed at ensuring that committed supporters are properly documented and recognised within the party.

Speaking to party members during the exercise, Hon. Timbo emphasised that active and verified membership is central to building a strong, united, and democratic APC. He noted that accurate membership records are necessary for effective participation in party activities, including internal elections and decision-making processes. According to him, the party’s leadership remains committed to engaging directly with supporters at the constituency level.

Party members in Constituency 039 welcomed the exercise and expressed appreciation for what they described as the leadership’s effort to bring the party closer to the people. Several stakeholders in Falaba District said the visit boosted confidence among grassroots supporters and reinforced unity within the party.

The card distribution also created space for direct interaction between the national leadership and local party members, allowing supporters to share views and reaffirm their commitment to the APC’s reform agenda.

According to party officials in Falaba District, the exercise comes at a timely moment as the APC prepares for future political activities. They described the initiative as part of a broader national effort by the party to consolidate its support base, promote internal democracy, and position itself for success at all levels of governance.
