Francis Ben Kaifala, Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), has shared heartwarming pre-wedding photos with his fiancée ahead of their upcoming wedding celebrations.

The traditional wedding is set for Thursday, October 3, 2024, followed by the white wedding on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Last month, Kaifala proposed to his fiancée in a culturally traditional and deeply meaningful way, staying true to his African roots.

In a heartfelt moment, he explained the significance of the tradition, where the woman’s family receives the kolanuts as part of the proposal process. The family then presents the kolanuts to the woman, asking if she accepts the proposal.

Kaifala shared his joy when his fiancée accepted, humorously stating, “They give her the kolanuts to see if she accepts – Bingo! Then the door is open for wedding plans.”

In a lighthearted post, he added, “Anyway, I just wanted to let you know she said ‘YES.’ If you don’t believe, zoom in and see how she grabbed the kolanuts.”

The announcement and photos have sparked excitement and well-wishes from friends, colleagues, and the public as the couple prepares for their special day.
