Former Big Sister Salone reality star, Samira N. Esber, has openly admitted to struggling with drug addiction, acknowledging the truth behind the accusations. She revealed that she has been battling substance abuse for some time.
In a video circulating on social media, Samira shared her challenges with fans and Sierra Leoneans, expressing her need for professional help.
“Good day Sierra Leone. How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing well. It’s your girl Samira. I’m here today to talk about what’s been going on a lot about me, and my addiction. It’s all true. It’s true that I’m an addict, it’s true that I’ve been going around Freetown smoking and taking drugs,” Samira said.
While admitting the facts of the stories, she also discussed the difficulties she’s had in conquering her addiction. “I’ve done everything, but I recognize now that I need help” she said.
Samira calls both her fans and the public at large to offer support and compassion during this tough time.
