One of the leading goodwill organizations in the country, Children and Women Empowerment Foundation (CaWEF) has on Sunday 25 December 2022 supported children at Gloucester Village, Igbo Avenue with learning materials.
The donation was part of a Media and Outreach program the foundation embarked on at the Gloucester Community on Christmas Day. The theme for the outreach program is: “The Power of Educating Children on Christmas Day.”
The CEO of CaWEF, Priscilla Mamusu Koroma said that the movement geared towards enlightening children about their rights, responsibility, limitations and to foster a better future for them.
She explained on the need on why children need to be educated, the important of Christmas Day, the important of a children in society, and the reason why education is important for children in any community or society.
The children expressed thanks and appreciation to CaWEF for supporting them with the learning materials and their education.
“We are grateful to receive such gifts that support our education and creating a platform to ask questions about our well being,” one of the beneficiaries, Francess Sesay said.
