The remain of an unidentified man who was hit by a white jeep vehicle with an unknown registration number is at the Koidu Government Hospital Mortuary.

According to report, the man is believed to be in his early forties and was hit by a speedy white jeep on Saturday 4th February 2023 at around 22:46 hours.

The address and name of the driver in control of the vehicle are yet to be known which has warranted the police in encouraging residents of Koidu city and Kono District to help them with information leading to the arrest of the driver and the vehicle in question.

The remains of the deceased are at the Koidu Government Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examination.
