Former councilor of Ward 408, Constituency 116 made another appearance before Magistrate Marke Ngegba of the Pademba Road Court Magistrate Court No.1.
The former Councilor, Aeiku Gibrila Turay aka Ice Tee is standing trial for alleged incitement on the August 10 protest in some parts of the country.
According to the e particulars of offense, it was alleged that Ice Tee on an unknown date in 2021 made an inciting statement at a press conference held at the New City Hall in Freetown.
During the court hearing, an Information Technology specialist was brought where he displayed a video containing a speech made by the accused in the press conference that allegedly incited the August 10 protest.

The accused was cross-examined by AJM Bockarie on the video and he admitted that the video contained his speech made at a press conference in 2021.
The matter was adjourned for further hearing as the defense counsel Melrose Nicol Wilson noted that they have a witness to testify in the next adjourned date.
