Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Sengeh, took part in a fun-filled football match with the Beach Amateur Football Association (BAFA) at Lumley Beach in Freetown.
In his social media post, Sengeh shared the experience, saying, “On my walk today at the beach, I joined the Beach Amateur Football Association (BAFA) to play. These are progressive, diverse, inclusive, and fun-loving fellas.”
He went on to add, “For my non-Salone friends, this is what makes Sierra Leone a beautiful place.”
Sengeh’s post captured the inclusive and welcoming spirit of BAFA, where people of all backgrounds and skill levels come together to enjoy the game and build connections. His words reflected how moments like these show the unity and diversity that make Sierra Leone such a special place.
BAFA, a local football group, is known for bringing together people from all walks of life. Sengeh’s participation in the match reinforced the importance of community-driven initiatives that foster inclusivity and celebrate the spirit of Sierra Leone.
