Two people are reported to have died in an accident on the Hillside Bypass Road in Freetown. An eye witness reported the incident on a Facebook live video.

The eye witness said the accident was caused by a truck driver who lost control due to break failure and directed it to two motorcycles parked in the middle of the street waiting on the traffic light to fade to green.

Two people are said to have died with one severely injured. The eyewitness pleaded with authorities to put measures in place so that vehicles coming from hilly road to join the Blackhall Road intersection will have meet at least a speed bump.

The eye witness also said that there have been several accidents of the same nature at that same spot and with the same situation.

“Government should put measures in place to salvage the situation before it got worse than it already has,” the witness said.
