The family of the late Victor Onie Williams has called on social media users to allow them to mourn in silence.
This request was made on Facebook on behalf of the family by Danny Strasser Williams, addressing the various speculations surrounding Onie’s death circulating on social media.
The request specifically addressed a post by a popular blog page, which claimed that an individual alleged Onie was appearing to her in dreams.
According to Onie’s family, they are Christians with a different belief system and hold the conviction that every individual is destined to die.
They clarified that the person reportedly seen in the individual’s dreams is not the late Victor Onie Williams. Instead, they suggested she might be dealing with a demon or a familiar spirit.
“Please be advised that the circumstances surrounding the demise of the late Victor Onie Williams should be left for the family to process and accept.
His parents are appalled by the false stories being spread by various individuals. They are requesting that everyone allow them to grieve in silence and let their son rest.
How relevant do you wish to become by exploiting the passing of a young, promising soul? Onie is NOT sending dreams to ANYONE. We are CHRISTIANS and believe differently: ‘It is appointed unto man once to die…’ Whatever or whoever you are communicating with in your dreams is NOT the late Victor Onie Williams. Rest assured, you are dealing with a demon or a familiar spirit.
Be assured that your dream life is compromised. Whatever narrative you are trying to push will not work.”
