ย Sierra Leoneโ€™s First Lady, Fatima Bio has on the 30th March, 2024 commissioned the Multi-purpose hall in Kenema City that was named after her โ€˜๐…๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐š ๐Œ๐š๐š๐๐š ๐๐ข๐จ ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข-๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐‡๐š๐ฅlโ€.

The Mayor of Kenema City, Thomas Baio, expressed heartfelt appreciation for Her Excellency’s instrumental role in realizing this pivotal projects in the city and the country at large as she is always ready to support developmental strives in the country.

He added that, working for the people of kenema has been a great priority as well as working on achieving developments for his people through the help of the President Bio.

In her Keynote address, First Lady Fatima Maada Bio thanked and appreciated the Mayor for the honour of having the hall named after her, emphasizing the importance of gender equality which is key in her activities.

She pledged her commitment to combating the scourge of drugs, particularly among the youth, to safeguard their future through the help of President Julius Maada Bio who has been very supportive in making sure that development is rolled out at every corner in the country.

He sighted some developmental activities rolled out by the president in the city with special reference to the ย road network commissioned during President Bio’s tenure and announced plans for further expansion.

She also pledged her support for the construction of a state-of-the-art SLPP Kenema Party Office, underscoring her support for advancing the party’s objectives.
