In a dawn to dusk raid targeting drug dealers, 33-year-old Ishmael Turay alias Isho, 22-year-old Mohamed Bangura alias Ortito, and 25-year-old John Ali Mansaray all of Peace Market, Ferry Junction, in the east end of Freetown, have been arrested by the Operations Team of the Harbour Police Division with 367 wraps of Kush, 59 wraps of Kush, and 18 wraps of Kush respectively.
Their landlord, 28-year-old Franklyn Luke of the same address, is also being taken into custody at the Ross Road Police Station for several drug-related offenses and for hosting drug dealers.
The suspects, together with the exhibits, are in Police custody.
“With the support we are receiving from the various stakeholders, my team and I will ensure that communities under the Harbour Police Division are free of drug dealers. There is no compromise on drug and substance abuse,” vowed LUC Kpulun, whose uncompromising stance on the fight against drugs and substance abuse has made him and the Harbour Police Division a model of excellence.
