The Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, delivered a powerful and inspiring address at the Third Biennial Certificate and Awards Presentation of the Police Wives Vocational and Training Institute, motivating graduates to embrace purpose, resilience, and self-belief.

Addressing the trainees, Minister Sannoh encouraged them to trust their abilities, build self-confidence, and become sources of inspiration within their families, communities, and the nation. He stressed that success begins in the mind, nurtured through belief, discipline, and consistency.

Reflecting on his own journey, the Minister shared that his childhood dream was to become a plumber, driven by his belief in the dignity of labor and the value of skills development. “Skills are power,” he said, “They give you independence, confidence, and relevance in any society.” He noted that this conviction continues to guide him in public office and national leadership.

Minister Sannoh also commended the Police Wives Vocational and Training Institute for empowering women through vocational education, describing it as a “pillar of resilience, empowerment, and national development.” He highlighted that investing in women’s skills is one of the most sustainable investments a nation can make.

The ceremony, held at Kingtom Police Barracks, concluded with graduates proudly receiving their certificates-symbols of courage, perseverance, and new beginnings-underscoring that greatness often starts with humble dreams, skilled hands, and unshakable self-belief.
