Two individuals have made their appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section of 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

The accused are twenty-four years old Mohamed Kamara unemployed and thirty years old Gibrilla Bangura fisherman who made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura.

According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday -5th June 2024 at City Hall Wallace Street the western area in Freetown did steal five metal bars and three sewage metal covers property of the Freetown City Council government of Sierra Leone.

When the charge was read and explained to the accused persons, they pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor Inspector Sellu  sought for a short t adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.

Meanwhile Magistrate Kekura granted bail to the accused persons in the sum of one hundred thousand Leones with two sureties in like sum.

Sureties to resident in the western area in Freetown and to produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown bail to be approved by the Deputy assistant Registrar Matter adjourned to the 28th June 2024.
