Infinitum Energy Group (iEg) will invest 180 million US Dollars to transform wastes to energy, thereby providing more than 30 megawatts of electricity to Freetown and its environs.

As renowned for providing clean energy, the company is working towards the Government of Sierra Leone continuously call for foreign direct investments into economic projects that seek to improve on the well-being of Sierra Leoneans – in the energy sector, agricultural sector, education, and several other sectors.

The Infinitum Energy Group is one of those that heeded to this call by investing 180 million US Dollars into the Sierra Leonean energy sector.

It was reported that upon ratification by the Government of Sierra Leone, Infinitum Energy Group will inject foreign cash into the economy, which will help to stabilise the declining Leone against the US Dollar.

The company said that this investment will open more opportunities for Sierra Leonean businesses in many ways, as several SMEs will be incorporated into the company’s wing of wastes collection in the City of Freetown and its environs.
