The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), one of the agency of the Ministry of internal affairs in Collaboration with other Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies have today 24th December, 2022 embarked on the second phase of the public destruction exercise of a huge quantity of dangerous and prohibited drugs at the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU), Headquarters Hastings.

The prohibited drugs include Marijuana and expired Pharmaceuticals drugs that has been in the custody of the police and the courts.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed to the public that similar destruction of 1,946.1 Kilograms of Cannbis Sativa was undertaken by the Agency and its partners.
