Former Justice Minister, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara (JFK) paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Commercial Bike Riders Union in Makeni, reaffirming his longstanding commitment to community development and grassroots empowerment. The visit is part of his ongoing constituency engagement tour.
The visit was warmly received by the leadership and members of the union, many of whom expressed appreciation for JFK’s continued connection with the institution and the people it represents.
The occasion also served as a reminder of JFK’s enduring contribution to the construction of the union’s office. During the building’s construction, he donated 100 bags of cement, a major intervention that helped move the project toward completion and provided the union with a permanent operational base.

Addressing members of the union, JFK emphasized the importance of unity, hard work, and collaboration in driving development. He reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the livelihoods of commercial bike riders and other grassroots communities, stressing that meaningful leadership is demonstrated through consistent action and service.
Leaders of the Commercial Bike Riders Union commended JFK for remembering the union long after his initial contribution, describing his visit as a testament to genuine leadership that goes beyond political seasons.
They acknowledged that his donation played a vital role in making the construction of the office a reality and thanked him for standing with the union over the years.
