Following the negative effect of Kush on young people and the drivers and bike riders in kabala, the District Traffic Officer, Chief-Inspector Agnes Fefegula of the Sierra Leone Police in kabala and team have on the 5th July 2024 taken a sensitization scheme to another level in safeguarding the lives of the youths in the district as well as the citizens.

The was revealed that the event was targeted at commercial motor drivers and riders at various commercial motor parks in the township that went on peacefully.

She reminded them of safety on the road which comes first, which she continues to say cannot be achieved by the intake of such dangerous substances which ignites dizziness and cause to sleep which is not advisable when driving or riding.

DTO Agness also encouraged them to regularize all necessary documents pertaining their (drivers/riders) professions as well as warned against inscriptions on especially commercial motorbikes which is been used as registration plates instead of going through the legal process of registration at the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority which generates income for road maintenance & improvements by government.
