Kissy Police Arrest Notorious Robber ‘Obio’ in Successful Sting Operation

The Sierra Leone Police have achieved a major breakthrough by arresting notorious robber Hassan Fornah, also known as ‘Obio,’ in a sting operation carried out by the Operations Team of the Kissy Division.

Fornah, a resident of 28 Thompson Street, has been identified by several community members as a key figure involved in a series of robberies in the area, particularly around the Kissy Mental Home.

The arrest follows a recent robbery in which Fornah and his gang allegedly targeted Osman Kamara, a mobile phone businessman residing on Wilkinson Road in Smart Farm. The suspects are believed to have stolen two Samsung S-24 Ultra mobile phones from Kamara.

Following the operation, Fornah was taken into custody and is currently under investigation at the Kissy Police Station. Authorities are working diligently to gather further evidence and information that will assist in ongoing investigations.
