A 17 year old boy, Abu Bakar Katty Sillah, who is challenged with a severe spinal condition, has earnestly called for financial support following his diagnosis of D7 vertebral collapse and spinal cord compression.

The disabling effects of his condition have left Abu-Bakr unable to use his limbs, threatening his aspirations of becoming an engineer.

Recent test results from Connaught Hospital indicated that Abu-Bakr requires urgent surgery, estimated to cost approximately $12,000, which needs to be performed in India.

In light of the pressing circumstances, the Sillah family has reached out to the community, the government, and philanthropists for financial assistance.

They have expressed hope that collective efforts will help secure the funding necessary to facilitate Abu Bakar’s surgery and restore his ability to walk.

“We are now appealing to the government and philanthropists for assistance with the hope of restoring Abu-Bakarr’s ability to walk and pursue his dreams,” called out heartily.
